Accessible Path

Don’t want to wait for the next bus after arriving at the Gmünd train station? No problem—the walk from the Gmünd train station to Sole Felsen Welt suitable for everyone! From the Gmünd train station, head north toward Conrathstraße, cross the railroad crossing, and turn left. Follow the road, and whenever you come to a roundabout, always take the opposite exit. After about 600 meters, you’ll see the Sole Felsen Welt on your right. The walk takes about 20 minutes, is 1.3 km long, and takes you through the picturesque landscape of the Waldviertel region and part of the town of Gmünd.

Stairway

Want to make your walk to Sole Felsen Welt ? Then this walking route is just right for you! Start at the Gmünd train station and head through the underpass toward Albrechtser Straße. Then turn left onto Albrechtser Straße and follow it until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit toward Eichenallee. Stroll along Eichenallee until the footpath ends on the right side of the street. Here, you can cross the street and then continue straight ahead, through the underpass, keeping to the left. After about 800 meters, you’ll see the Sole Felsen Welt on your right. The walk takes about 20 minutes, is approximately 1.3 km long, and invites you to stroll through the idyllic Waldviertel countryside and part of the town of Gmünd.
