Privacy Policy
We use your personal data solely to respond to your inquiry, process your order, or provide you with access to additional information or offers. In order to meet your needs, it may be necessary for us to store and process your personal data (last name, first name, address, etc.). In doing so, we adhere to the principle of data minimization by collecting, storing, processing, and using only the data necessary to fulfill the stated purpose. Please note that not all information is required. We do not, of course, create user profiles. In addition, we collect data on the number of visits to our websites. This information provides us with insights into the general interests and preferences of our visitors. However, this data is not personal but purely statistical in nature. Furthermore, we automatically collect and store information transmitted to us by your browser, such as your IP address. All personal data is handled in accordance with legal regulations.
If we engage subcontractors or agents who require this data to perform the services you wish to use, we will transfer the data to the extent necessary. In this case, we require our partners to treat the data confidentially in accordance with legal provisions and to delete it immediately as soon as it is no longer needed. Please understand, however, that we cannot comprehensively monitor compliance with this obligation, so we assume no liability for any violations. Furthermore, we do not disclose collected data to third parties; in particular, this data is not sold, rented, or exchanged.
All data is stored and processed separately and is never combined. Personal data is stored for a maximum of 6 months or until the service you requested has been fulfilled. You naturally have the option at any time to request the deletion of your data in whole or in part. We will comply with this request immediately.
Security
We take technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data is carefully protected against loss, falsification, manipulation, or unauthorized access or disclosure. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments on the Internet.
Cookies are used on some parts of our websites. The use of cookies contributes to the effective use of the websites. A cookie consists of information sent by our websites to the visitor’s browser to be stored on their system. The cookie is used solely to recognize the visitor. It is possible to configure the browser so that the user is notified when a cookie is received. The user can then decide for themselves whether to accept the cookie or not.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”
Through its certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also met when processing data in the USA.
The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.
Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. Through this function, Google truncates the IP address while the data is still within the EU or the EEA.
The data collected in this way is then used by Google to provide us with an analysis of visits to our website and the usage activities that take place there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet.
Google states that it does not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google provides further information regarding data protection at
, https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners, and
, including, for example, options for preventing data collection.
In addition, Google offers a so-called opt-out add-on along with further information at
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
. This add-on can be installed with common web browsers and provides you with additional control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) not to transmit information about your visit to our website to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services. You can, of course, also find out in this privacy policy whether we use any other web analytics services and, if so, which ones.
"Facebook" social plugin
We use the Facebook social network plug-in on our website. Facebook is an online service provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Within the EU, this service is operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland; both are hereinafter referred to as “Facebook.”
Through its certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”)
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active
, Facebook guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also met when processing data in the United States.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website.
Facebook provides further information about the available plugins and their respective functions at
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
.
If the plugin is embedded on one of the pages of our website that you visit, your web browser downloads a representation of the plugin from Facebook’s servers in the U.S. For technical reasons, it is necessary for Facebook to process your IP address. In addition, the date and time of your visit to our website are also recorded.
If you are logged into Facebook while visiting one of our web pages that includes the plugin, Facebook will recognize the information collected by the plugin regarding your specific visit. Facebook may associate the information collected in this way with your personal user account there. For example, if you use Facebook’s “Like” button, this information will be stored in your Facebook user account and may be published via the Facebook platform. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of Facebook before visiting our website or use an add-on for your web browser to block the loading of the Facebook plugin.
Further information regarding the collection and use of data, as well as your rights and options for protection in this regard, is provided by Facebook in the privacy policies available at
, https://www.facebook.com/policy.php, and
.
Facebook Remarketing
This website uses the “Custom Audiences” remarketing feature provided by Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). This feature is used to display interest-based advertisements (“Facebook Ads”) to visitors of this website when they visit the Facebook social network. To this end, Facebook’s remarketing tag has been implemented on this website. When you visit the website, this tag establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. In the process, information is transmitted to Facebook’s servers indicating that you have visited this website, and Facebook associates this information with your personal Facebook user account. For more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Alternatively, you can disable the “Custom Audiences” remarketing feature at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_=_. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.
Newsletter
1. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletter subscriptions. This means that after you provide your first name, last name, email address, and preferred title, we will send a confirmation email to the address you provided, asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm this, your registration will be automatically deleted. If you confirm your wish to receive the newsletter, we will store your email address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. This storage serves solely the purpose of being able to send you the newsletter. Furthermore, we store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation to prevent misuse of your personal data.
2. The only mandatory information required to receive the newsletter is your email address. The provision of additional, separately marked information is voluntary and is used solely to personalize the newsletter. This data will also be completely deleted upon revocation.
3. You may revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time. You can revoke your consent by clicking the link provided in every newsletter email, by sending an email to info@solefelsenwelt.at or by writing to Sole-Felsen-Bdd, Albrechtser Straße 12, A-3950 Gmünd.
