Gmünd, June 27, 2024: After four months of renovations, the Sole Felsen Welt Gmünd is opening its new pool, complete with all sorts of great features!

On March 4, 2024, a multi-million-euro project kicked off at the Sole Felsen Welt Gmünd: The exterior facade of the Sole Felsen Hotel**** is getting a completely new look. The green and orange facade is being replaced with a custom-made wood-slat design, accented with an elegant dark gray. But changes pool also on the agenda at pool Sole Felsen pool . The Sole Relax Lagoon, an indoor and outdoor pool with various seating and lounging areas, is set to be modernized:

The new indoor and outdoor pool boasts a wide range of features. The spacious pool area offers plenty of room to relax, swim, and splash around. Comfortable seating areas with bubble jets and massage jets provide an extra dose of relaxation, helping to loosen up your muscles and offering soothing moments of calm. Floor jets are also built in, providing a gentle massage for the entire body and creating a truly unique swimming experience.

Another highlight—and a brand-new addition—is the charming wooden deck with a glass railing, which offers a magnificent view of the Asang Pond and the idyllic forest landscape surrounding it. Soaking up the sun and relaxing is a breeze here—it’s the perfect place to truly immerse yourself in the Waldviertel! Last but not least, the new bathing experience is rounded out with a waterfall shower. Here, you can pamper your face, neck, and back.

Managing Director Bernhard Strohmeier is eagerly looking forward to the opening of the renovated pool and is thrilled to finally be able to resume normal operations. “Unfortunately, not all pools were available to our guests during the renovation, so we are all the more delighted not only to be able to offer our guests the familiar swimming area again, but also to do so in a modernized and more elegant style. It is therefore a great pleasure for us to be able to present our new Relax Lagoon with its fantastic new features starting July 1!” said Managing Director Bernhard Strohmeier.
