Collarium

The next generation of the solarium is waiting for you!

The Collarium at Sole Felsen Welt combines the classic features of a tanning salon with an innovative collagen therapy.

What is collagen?

As the body’s “support network,” collagen is a key component of connective tissue. Connective tissue is found between all the body’s cells and organs and is a component of bones, blood vessel walls, tendons, ligaments, and the skin. Collagen fibers shape the body’s appearance. With age, the body’s own collagen production decreases; the skin loses elasticity, shows increased signs of aging, and exhibits connective tissue weakness. Weakness in muscles, tendons, and ligaments may also develop.

How does a collarium work?

Scientific research shows that certain cells in the skin can be stimulated to produce collagen, which is responsible for improving skin quality. This process takes place in the walls of blood vessels. Special light waves within a specific spectral range increase oxygen uptake by the body’s cells, stimulate detoxification, and improve the skin’s ability to absorb and retain moisture. The process has a skin-tightening effect and strengthens the collagen network. Upon request, UV light can be added to achieve an attractive complexion.
